With a Milltech Apprenticeship you can train to....
Get a Job
Get a Qualification
Get Paid...all in one go!
You will be working in the real world, getting hands on experience and learning at the same time. What’s more you will be gaining skills and qualifications that are recognised by employers everywhere, so an Apprenticeship is a great first step onto the career ladder.
What’s the difference between an Apprenticeship and an Advanced Apprenticeship?
An Apprentice initially commences on a non-employed EMA basis; or your pay will be at least £95 per week as an employed learner; and that is just for starters.
As your skills and knowledge of your industry increases we will negotiate a wage review with your placement, which will be carried out at six monthly intervals.
Your training with Milltech will continue until you have gained all of your qualifications, with the ultimate aim of progressing onto and completing an Advanced Apprenticeship.
An Apprenticeship programme will consist of a National Vocational Qualification at Level II, Technical Certificate at Level II and Key Skills.
Advanced Apprentices are usually employed by their company from day one. As with any employee your wage will have been agreed between you and your employer.
Your programme will consist of a National Vocational Qualification at Level III, a Technical Certificate at Level III and Key Skills.
Training and assessment will be done in the workplace and on day release at Milltech.
When you have achieved these qualifications your skills and experience will set you on the road to a bright future with rewards to match. You can even move onto higher education if this is what you wish to do.
Throughout your training period a dedicated Milltech Training Officer will help and guide you through the qualification process.
